A schedule of road construction that may cause delays in the Richmond District from February 28 to March 6, 2026, has been released. The detailed alert is available online.

Drivers seeking current traffic and road work updates are encouraged to visit 511Virginia at 511.vdot.virginia.gov or use the free mobile app. The service allows users to receive personalized traffic alerts and access live traffic camera feeds through 511Virginia.

Motorists can also follow the Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) Richmond District on X at @VaDOTRVA for additional updates.

According to the official website, the Virginia Department of Transportation is responsible for building, maintaining, and operating roads, bridges, and tunnels across Virginia to ensure a safe and efficient transportation system.
