A schedule of road construction projects that may lead to travel delays in the Richmond area has been released for the week of September 6-12, 2025. The Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) is advising drivers to be aware of potential disruptions during this period.

Motorists are encouraged to check the latest updates on traffic conditions and ongoing road work by visiting the 511Virginia website at 511.vdot.virginia.gov or by downloading the free 511Virginia mobile app. These resources allow users to sign up for personalized traffic alerts and access live traffic camera feeds.

VDOT also provides updates through its Richmond District X account @VaDOTRVA.
