Reston Parkway ramp closures planned for nighttime bridge repairs

The Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) has announced that the southbound Reston Parkway (Route 602) ramp to the eastbound Dulles Toll Road (Route 267) will be closed at night from Monday, November 17 through Thursday, November 20, if weather allows. The closures are necessary for repairs on the northbound Reston Parkway bridge over the Dulles Toll Road.

According to VDOT, the ramp will be closed during these times:
– From 10 p.m. Monday, Nov. 17, to 5 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 18.
– From 10 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 18, to 5 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 19.
– From 10 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 19, to 5 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 20.
– From 10 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 20, to 5 a.m. Friday, Nov. 21.

Drivers will be detoured using southbound Reston Parkway onto Sunrise Valley Drive (Route 5320) and then Wiehle Avenue (Route 828), which leads back to the eastbound Dulles Toll Road.

The repairs on the northbound Reston Parkway bridge are expected to finish in early 2026.
