Beginning Monday, Jan. 5 at 9 a.m., the right lane of northbound Reston Parkway (Route 602) will be closed on the bridge over the Dulles Toll Road (Route 267) for about two weeks as bridge repairs are carried out, according to the Virginia Department of Transportation.

Both lanes of northbound Reston Parkway along the bridge will shift to the left. The left-turn from northbound Reston Parkway to westbound Dulles Toll Road will also be closed since that turn lane will serve as a through lane during this period.

Left-turning drivers will need to follow a detour using northbound Reston Parkway, Sunset Hills Road (Route 675), and Fairfax County Parkway (Route 286) before returning to westbound Dulles Toll Road. Drivers are instructed to follow posted detour signs.

“This traffic shift is scheduled to be in place until 9 a.m. Monday, Jan. 19.”

Bridge repairs on the northbound Reston Parkway over Dulles Toll Road are expected to finish this spring.
