Five Radford University softball players have been named to the College Sports Communicators Academic All-District team for their achievements during the 2026 season. The honorees met rigorous athletic participation requirements as well as high academic standards.
Jaelynn Joiner and Jeylah Hamrick have qualified for this year’s NCAA East First Round track meet—an achievement not seen by multiple Radford women’s team members since 2009. Their coach says it’s an important milestone as they prepare to compete against top Division I athletes.
Dakota Redmon has been named to the Mid-Atlantic All-Region Second Team for a second year in a row. Her achievements include repeating as Big South Pitcher of the Year and ranking highly both within her conference and nationally.
