The Radford men’s golf program announced on Apr. 30 that Isaiah Cantrell has signed to join the team for the upcoming 2026-27 season. Head coach Mike Grant said, “We are excited to have Isaiah join our program. He is very athletic, and full of power. He has the tool set to be successful.”
Cantrell comes from Floyd County High School, where he built a strong high school golf career. He was named First Team All-State three times and competed among Virginia’s top golfers.
In addition to his all-state honors, Cantrell earned three selections to the First-Team Roanoke Hall of Fame and achieved a top ten finish at the VSGA Junior Match Play tournament.
Grant highlighted Cantrell’s athleticism and potential as reasons for his recruitment.
