The Radford men’s basketball program announced on May 19 that Ja’Corey Robinson, Jordyn Kee, Tristan Gross, Parby Kabamba, Caden Cantrell, Alex Nokes and Kolier Pruett have signed with the Highlanders for the upcoming 2026-27 season.

This announcement brings a mix of experienced transfers and promising freshmen to the team. The signings are expected to strengthen Radford’s roster as they prepare for the next season.

Ja’Corey Robinson joins from Austin Peay after appearing in 30 games last season. Head coach Zach Chu said, “Ja’Corey is one of the most unique players in the country possessing a rare combination of playmaking, rebounding and defensive impact. Ja’Corey will look to build off an extremely strong freshman year while being one of the largest guards in the country.” Jordyn Kee arrives from Miami and was previously rated as a four-star prospect by ESPN.com. Chu said about Kee: “Jordyn brings a high major pedigree to our team as a guard who can create off the dribble as well as hit open shots. We’re excited for Jordyn to continue to grow his game here at Radford.”

Tristan Gross transfers from Mercer where he was known for his shooting efficiency. Chu said, “Tristan is a leader both on and off the court. His ability to hit timely shots and create offense for others will allow Tristan to flourish here at Radford. We look forward to Tristan joining and helping lead our program this season.” Parby Kabamba comes from Marist with international experience including NBA Academy Africa participation; Chu described him as “one of the hardest workers in the country” who brings elite rebounding and defensive intensity.

Caden Cantrell enters as a freshman after helping his prep team win its first state championship; Chu praised his character and discipline: “We are elated to add a high IQ, elite shooter and tenacious perimeter defender to the Highlander family!” Alex Nokes joins after playing at Santa Fe College; according to Chu: “We are excited to be able to add an experienced, high-character forward…who has excellent toughness and physicality.” Kolier Pruett transfers from UVA Wise with local ties; Chu said, “We’re excited to add a local talent in Kolier. He will bring athleticism, defensive intangibles and the ability to player in our fast-paced offense…”

The addition of these players aims at boosting both depth and versatility within Radford’s lineup ahead of next year’s competition.
