The Virginia Department of Transportation has announced that the northbound right lane of Prince William Parkway at Balls Ford Road in Manassas will be closed for nighttime repairs on May 16 and 17. The closures are planned to facilitate repairs to the Balls Ford Road overpass.

The scheduled lane closures will occur as follows: from 10 p.m. on Friday, May 16, until 8 a.m. on Saturday, May 17, and again from 10 p.m. on Saturday, May 17, until 9 a.m. on Sunday, May 18. A backup date is also set if needed, from 9 p.m. on Sunday, May 18, to 5 a.m. on Monday, May 19.

Travelers are advised to exercise caution while navigating through active work zones and remain alert to new traffic patterns while limiting distractions.
