Nighttime closures planned for King Street ramps to I-395 in Alexandria

Weather permitting, the westbound King Street (Route 7) ramps to both northbound and southbound I-395 in Alexandria will undergo nighttime closures for paving on June 3 and June 4. This information was released by the Virginia Department of Transportation.

The closures are scheduled from 11 p.m. Tuesday, June 3, until 4 a.m. Wednesday, June 4, and again from 11 p.m. Wednesday, June 4, until 4 a.m. Thursday, June 5.

During these times, traffic will be rerouted via westbound King Street/Leesburg Pike, westbound Columbia Pike (Route 244), and eastbound Leesburg Pike/King Street back to the northbound and southbound I-395.

Drivers are advised to adhere to the posted detour signs.
