The Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) announced that it will implement alternating traffic shifts along Interstate 95 in Chesterfield County to allow for the installation of new pavement markings. The work is scheduled to take place between the Oxendale Road overpass and Route 10 (West Hundred Road).

According to VDOT, nightly changes in traffic patterns will begin with southbound I-95 traffic shifting to the median from Sunday, October 26, through Wednesday, October 29. These changes will be in effect each night from 9 p.m. until 6 a.m.

Northbound I-95 traffic will also be shifted to the median starting Tuesday, October 28, at 9 p.m., continuing until Wednesday, October 29, at 6 a.m.

Motorists traveling through this section are advised to exercise caution and follow all posted signage and devices guiding vehicles around the work zone.
