The Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) has announced nightly double lane closures on Interstate 95 northbound near Route 161 (Arthur Ashe Boulevard) at mile marker 78.5 in Richmond for a pipe replacement project.
According to VDOT, the closures will occur from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m., beginning Monday, September 8, and continuing through Thursday, September 11. The work is dependent on weather conditions.
“Weather permitting, the Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) will implement nightly double lane closures on I-95 northbound near Route 161 (Arthur Ashe Boulevard) at mile marker 78.5 in Richmond for a pipe replacement project.”
Motorists traveling through the area are advised to use alternate routes to avoid delays during the scheduled work period.
