Lawyers Road in Vienna closed for weekend drainage work Oct. 25-26 and Nov. 1-2

Lawyers Road in Vienna is scheduled for closure to through traffic on the weekends of October 25-26 and November 1-2, according to the Virginia Department of Transportation. The closures will occur between Hunter Mill Road and Garrett Street from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. each day, weather permitting, to allow for drainage pipe replacement.

Access will be maintained for residents and property owners along Lawyers Road, but vehicles will not be able to pass beyond the work area near 10374 Lawyers Road, just east of Whippoorwill Road, in either direction.

During these closures, through traffic will be rerouted using Hunter Mill Road and Vale Road/Malcolm Road NW before returning to Lawyers Road. Drivers are advised to follow posted detour signs.
