Intersection of Dumaine Drive and Ionis Lane in Chesterfield County to close for pipe project

The Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) has announced the temporary closure of the intersection at Route 2606 (Dumaine Drive) and Route 2737 (Ionis Lane) in Chesterfield County for a pipe replacement project. The work is scheduled to take place on Wednesday, December 3, from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., weather permitting.

During the operation, homeowners will continue to have access to their properties. VDOT advises motorists to follow posted detour routes. For northbound traffic, drivers should travel west on Dumaine Drive, then north on Route 2609 (Kellynn Drive), east on Route 2735 (Thomassette Drive), and south on Route 2736 (Delfin Road). Southbound traffic should proceed south on Ionis Lane, north on Delfin Road, west on Thomassette Drive, and south on Kellynn Drive.
