The Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) will close the intersection of Route 2070 (Redington Drive) and Route 2071 (Brantley Road) in Chesterfield County to replace a pipe. The closure is scheduled from Tuesday, August 19, through Thursday, August 21, with work occurring each day between 8 a.m. and 3:30 p.m., weather permitting.
According to VDOT, homeowners will still be able to access their properties during the project. Detours will be posted for drivers traveling in both directions. Westbound traffic should use northbound Route 2075 (Ryder Road), eastbound Route 2075 (Harmad Drive), southbound Route 1999 (Forkland Drive), and southbound Route 755 (North Pinetta Drive) before returning to westbound Redington Drive. Eastbound drivers are directed to take northbound Route 755 (North Pinetta Drive), northbound Route 1999 (Forkland Drive), westbound Route 2075 (Harmad Drive), and southbound Route 2075 (Ryder Road) back to eastbound Redington Drive.
