The Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) has announced that alternating double lane closures will take place on I-95 southbound near Parham Road in Henrico County. The closures are scheduled from Sunday, August 17 through Thursday, August 21, between mile markers 84 and 82.5. Work will occur nightly from 7 p.m. until 6 a.m., weather permitting, to allow for paving operations.
Ramps in the area will also close on a rotating basis during these times. Drivers are advised to follow posted detour signs and remain alert while traveling through work zones.
For questions about the project, individuals can contact VDOT’s customer service center at 800-FOR-ROAD (800-367-7623).
“Motorists should stay alert in work zones.”
