Weather conditions permitting, the Virginia Department of Transportation will implement overnight closures at three I-95 interchanges in Prince William County from May 4 to May 6 for paving activities.
On the night of Sunday, May 4, the southbound I-95 ramp to westbound Joplin Road (Exit 150B – Route 619 West to Prince William Forest Park) will be closed from 11:59 p.m. to 4 a.m. the following day. Traffic will be rerouted through southbound I-95, Russell Road (Exit 148 to Marine Corps Base Quantico), and northbound I-95 back to Joplin Road.
The night of Monday, May 5, will see the closure of the southbound I-95 ramp to westbound Prince William Parkway (Exit 158B – Route 294 West to Manassas), also from 11:59 p.m. to 4 a.m. on Tuesday, May 6. During this period, vehicles will be detoured via southbound I-95, eastbound Prince William Parkway (Exit 158A – Route 294 East to Woodbridge), and northbound I-95 collector-distributor lanes back to westbound Prince William Parkway.
On Tuesday night, May 6, from 11:59 p.m. to 4 a.m. Wednesday, May 7, the northbound I-95 ramp to southbound Route 123 (Exit 160A to Woodbridge) will be closed. Non-truck traffic will take a detour through northbound I-95, northbound Route 123 (Exit 160B to Occoquan and Lake Ridge), and a U-turn at Devils Reach Road back to southbound Route 123. Truck traffic will be rerouted via northbound I-95, northbound Route 123 (Exit 160B to Occoquan and Lake Ridge), westbound Old Bridge Road (Route 641), southbound Occoquan Road (Route 906 South), and a left turn on Horner Road back to southbound Route 123.
Motorists are advised to follow the posted detour signs.
