Weather permitting, the Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) plans to close all eastbound lanes of Interstate 64 at mile marker 200 in Henrico for concrete repairs. The closure is scheduled to begin at 9 p.m. on Thursday, June 5, and will last until 6 a.m. on Friday, June 6. It will resume at noon on Friday, June 6, continuing until 6 a.m. on Monday, June 9.
During this period, motorists will be redirected from I-64 eastbound to the collector distributor lanes at Exit 200 leading to the I-295 north and south ramps. Drivers are advised to stay in the left lane to re-enter I-64 eastbound.
The ramps for both northbound and southbound traffic on I-295 will remain open throughout the closures.
