Triple-lane closures are scheduled on southbound Interstate 495 between Georgetown Pike and Old Dominion Drive in McLean, Virginia. The closure is set to begin at 11 p.m. on April 22 and last until 5 a.m. on April 23. The lane closures are necessary for overhead sign repair work. During this time, one southbound lane will remain open with intermittent traffic stoppages lasting up to 30 minutes occurring between midnight and 5 a.m.

Drivers traveling from Maryland to Virginia over the American Legion Bridge should anticipate delays and are advised to use alternate routes.
