Weather permitting, the northbound I-395 ramp to Boundary Channel Drive in Arlington will undergo a nighttime closure. According to the Virginia Department of Transportation, this closure is scheduled from 11 p.m. on Thursday, June 12, to 4 a.m. on Friday, June 13, for paving activities.

Non-truck traffic will be redirected through an alternate route involving northbound I-395, northbound George Washington Memorial Parkway (Exit 10B), and then looping back via southbound I-395 to Boundary Channel Drive.

Truck traffic will face a different detour approximately one mile before reaching northbound I-395 Exit 10A. The route will take trucks via northbound I-395 Exit 8C (to Route 1 South/Pentagon City/Crystal City/Reagan National Airport), Army Navy Drive, 12th Street South, and Long Bridge Drive back to Boundary Channel Drive.

Drivers are advised to adhere to the posted detour signs for guidance.

The northbound I-395 Exit 10A ramp leading left towards George Washington Memorial Parkway and Reagan National Airport will remain accessible for all vehicles except trucks. Trucks are prohibited on George Washington Memorial Parkway at all times.
