Weather permitting, the northbound I-395 ramp to Shirlington Circle will be closed during nighttime hours on June 4 and June 5 for paving. The Virginia Department of Transportation announced that the closures will occur from 11 p.m. Wednesday, June 4, to 4 a.m. Thursday, June 5, and again from 11 p.m. Thursday, June 5, to 4 a.m. Friday, June 6.
During these times, traffic will be rerouted via the Exit 6 ramp to the right of the fork (Quaker Lane), continuing onto Quaker Lane, Preston Road, Martha Custis Drive, and Gunston Road back to Shirlington Circle. Drivers are advised to follow posted detour signs.
