Governor Abigail Spanberger announced on May 29 that Hyper Solutions, a digital infrastructure business services and manufacturing firm founded in Virginia in 2022, will invest $2 million to expand its operations in Henrico County. The company’s expansion is expected to create 56 new jobs for Virginians in the Greater Richmond region.
Spanberger said, “Hyper Solutions’ expansion in Henrico County shows that digital infrastructure investments reverberate throughout Virginia’s economy and continue to bring new job opportunities to the Commonwealth. Virginia remains committed to working with local and regional partners to ensure that our workers and families experience the economic benefits that come with increased demand for power distribution solutions.”
Secretary of Commerce and Trade Carrie Chenery said, “Virginia is showing that global demand for energy solutions is translating into economic growth for our communities. Hyper Solutions’ investment will create new, high-quality jobs and ensure Virginia remains a partner and leader in the global technology and energy solutions marketplaces.”
Vladimir Gulkarov, CEO of Hyper Solutions, said, “We are proud to continue growing in Henrico County and grateful for the partnership and support from the Commonwealth of Virginia. This expansion enables us to create meaningful jobs, strengthen local and national manufacturing ecosystems, and help position Virginia as a leader in the future of digital infrastructure.”
The company uses a decentralized manufacturing process through a network of partners worldwide. Every product is engineered, designed, tested, and built in the United States. By leveraging this distributed production model, Hyper enables skilled manufacturers who may not have traditional access to large-scale projects to participate in an expanding market.
Misty Roundtree of the Henrico County Board of Supervisors said Hyper’s investment will deliver scalable solutions while strengthening the local economy through job creation. Senator Schuyler T. VanValkenburg added that companies choosing expansion within Henrico are evidence of ongoing efforts making the region attractive for business growth.
Delegate Rodney T. Willett said this decision signals continued leadership by Virginia in innovation and advanced manufacturing: “This investment will create high-quality jobs, strengthen domestic manufacturing capacity, and position the Commonwealth at the forefront of a growing global industry.”
The Virginia Economic Development Partnership worked with Henrico County on securing this project for Virginia. Support will be provided through the state-funded Virginia Jobs Investment Program (VJIP), which offers consultative services as well as funding for employee recruitment and training.
