James Madison University lacrosse player Harlowe Healey was named American Conference Midfielder of the Week, according to an announcement from the conference on April 27. This is the second consecutive week that Healey has received this honor.

Healey, a sophomore from Beverly Farms, Massachusetts, scored a career-high two goals and recorded 14 draw controls in James Madison’s recent victory over Old Dominion. The team won 19-7 in American Conference play and ended its regular season with a five-game winning streak.

Healey leads the American Conference with an average of 8.35 draw controls per game overall and 9.33 per game during conference matchups. Her total of 142 draw controls also ranks first among all players in the conference.

The Dukes are entering postseason play as the No. 2 seed and will face No. 3 seed East Carolina in the semifinals of the 2026 American Women’s Lacrosse Championship at FirstBank Stadium in Nashville, Tennessee. The match is scheduled for Thursday, April 30 at 8:15 p.m., with coverage available on ESPN+.

As James Madison continues its successful season, attention will be on Healey’s performance as she helps lead her team into championship contention.
