The median sale price of a home sold in the second quarter of 2017 in Hampton rose by $523 while total sales decreased by 3.4%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From April through June of 2017, there were 658 homes sold, with a median sale price of $137,523 – a 0.4% increase over the $137,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 681 homes sold in Hampton in the second quarter of 2016.

The median sales tax in Hampton for the most recent year with available data, 2016, was $1,950, approximately 1.4% of the median home sale price for the second quarter of 2017.
