The median sale price of a home sold in 2018 in Hampton rose by $7,022 while total sales increased by 3.1%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through December of 2018, there were 2,532 homes sold, with a median sale price of $147,022 – a 5% increase over the $140,000 median sale price for the previous year. There were 2,456 homes sold in Hampton in 2017.

The median sales tax in Hampton for the most recent year with available data, 2016, was $1,950, approximately 1.3% of the median home sale price for 2018.
