Guinea Station Road closed in Caroline County due to drainage issue

Route 607, known as Guinea Station Road, in Caroline County has been closed to through traffic near its intersection with Route 606, Stonewall Jackson Road. The closure is due to a drainage pipe failure.

The Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) has provided a recommended detour route which includes Route 660, Claiborne Crossing Road; Route 609, Macedonia Road; and Route 606, Stonewall Jackson Road.

Emergency repairs by VDOT crews are scheduled to begin on Tuesday, March 18.
