The Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) has announced that sections of Route 912, known as Gregory Drive, will be closed at Route 763, Fordham Road, in Chesterfield for pipe replacement work. The closures are scheduled for Thursday, July 17, and Tuesday, July 22, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., weather permitting.
On July 17, the east side of the intersection will be closed for pipe replacement. Eastbound traffic will be rerouted north on Fordham Road and east on Route 764, Paulhill Road, before returning to Gregory Drive. Westbound traffic will travel north on Paulhill Road and south on Fordham Road back to Gregory Drive.
The west side closure is set for July 22. During this time, eastbound traffic will follow a detour north on Paulhill Road and south on Fordham Road back to Gregory Drive. Westbound vehicles will go north on Fordham Road and west on Paulhill Road before returning to Gregory Drive.
Homeowners in the area will retain access to their properties throughout the construction period.
