Governor Glenn Youngkin has announced new appointments to several state boards and commissions in Virginia. The appointments cover a range of sectors, including agriculture, commerce, health, and natural resources.
Among the boards receiving new members are the Virginia Racing Commission and the Virginia Recreational Facilities Authority Board of Directors under the Agriculture and Forestry sector. In Commerce and Trade, appointments were made to the Clean Energy Advisory Board and the Virginia Offshore Wind Development Authority.
In Health and Human Resources, Governor Youngkin named individuals to the Advisory Board on Surgical Assisting, Board of Optometry, Foundation for Healthy Youth Board of Trustees, State Board of Health, State Child Fatality Review Team, and State Rehabilitation Council for the Blind and Vision Impaired.
The Legislative sector saw appointments to the Commission on Youth. For Natural and Historic Resources, positions were filled on the State Air Pollution Control Board.
