Governor Glenn Youngkin has announced new appointments to several state boards. The appointments span multiple sectors, including commerce and trade, health and human resources, and transportation.

The governor’s office released the following statement: “Governor Glenn Youngkin today announced additional board appointments.”

The new appointees will serve on the Tobacco Region Revitalization Commission, Virginia African American Advisory Board, Southeastern Public Service Authority, Board of Medicine, and Aerospace Advisory Council.

These boards are responsible for advising on key issues such as economic development in tobacco regions, matters affecting African American communities in Virginia, public service management in southeastern areas of the state, medical practice oversight, and advancements in aerospace within the commonwealth.
