Governor Glenn Youngkin has announced a new round of appointments to various state boards across Virginia. The appointments span multiple sectors, including agriculture, education, health, labor, legislative matters, public safety, and veterans affairs.

The agriculture and forestry sector will see new members joining the Potato Board, Soybean Board, and State Certified Seed Board. In education, appointments have been made to the Student Advisory Board.

Within health and human resources, Governor Youngkin has named individuals to the Advisory Board on Art Therapy, Advisory Board on Respiratory Care, State Board of Social Services, and the Statewide Independent Living Council. The Virginia Commonwealth University Health System Authority Board of Directors also received an independent appointment.

For labor issues, new members were added to the Board for Hearing Aid Specialists and Opticians. Legislative appointments include those to the Capitol Square Preservation Council.

In public safety and homeland defense, there are new appointees to the Virginia Sexual and Domestic Violence Program Professional Standards Committee. Veterans and defense affairs are represented with appointments to the Joint Leadership Council of Veterans Service Organizations.
