George Mason University announced on April 22 that season ticket renewals for men’s and women’s basketball are now open, giving fans the chance to secure seats for the 2026-27 season and gain priority access to new hospitality options and in-game experiences.
The university said both programs are coming off consecutive postseason appearances, which has helped build momentum in the Northern Virginia community. The athletics department plans to use this support to further enhance the fan experience, improve game day atmosphere, and deliver more value to loyal supporters.
Season ticket holders will continue to receive a better overall value compared to single-game pricing. They will also have first access to high-demand games at EagleBank Arena and can keep their current seat locations if they renew by June 16. New enhancements for the upcoming season—including improvements in premium hospitality areas, student sections, and concourse environment—will be announced later this summer.
During an eight-week renewal period from April 22 through June 16, George Mason has streamlined its process with a single Ticketmaster transaction covering both renewals and seat fees. Fans who act early can take advantage of incentives such as flexible payment options. Those renewing by May 19 will be entered into a drawing for an exclusive game-day opportunity; details about this perk will be released on May 5.
Men’s basketball season ticket prices and seat fees remain unchanged for next year. However, women’s basketball tickets will see a price increase as part of ongoing investment in that program. VIP seating for women’s games now includes a seat fee contributing toward priority points under a restructured program launching in the new season.
All accounts renewed or set up with payment plans by July will get preferred access to new hospitality offerings being unveiled this year. The university said that not renewing by June 16 means previous seat locations cannot be guaranteed nor priority access provided.
Deposits are also being accepted from prospective new ticket holders who want to reserve seats later this spring or early summer.
