Fox Mill Road in Oakton will be closed to through traffic from April 14 to April 17, according to the Virginia Department of Transportation. The closure, between Waples Mill Road and Bronzedale Drive, will occur daily from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. for necessary drainage pipe replacement.

Access to properties along Fox Mill Road will be maintained. However, drivers cannot pass the replacement point just north of Waples Mill Road in either direction.

A detour will be in place for through traffic, directing vehicles via Waples Mill Road, History Drive, and Bronzedale Drive to reconnect with Fox Mill Road. Drivers are encouraged to adhere to posted detour signs.
