Edsall Road ramp closures planned for nighttime paving work

The Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) has announced the temporary closure of the eastbound Edsall Road (Route 648) ramp to northbound I-395 for paving. The closures are scheduled for Monday night, June 2, and Tuesday night, June 3, contingent on weather conditions.

The ramp will be closed from 11 p.m. Monday until 4 a.m. Tuesday, and again from 11 p.m. Tuesday until 4 a.m. Wednesday.

During these times, traffic will be redirected via eastbound Edsall Road to southbound Bren Mar Drive with a U-turn onto northbound Bren Mar Drive back to the ramp leading to northbound I-395.
