DPR Construction announced on Apr. 24 the completion of a major expansion at its Richmond-area office in Henrico County, increasing its facility to approximately 24,000 square feet at Innsbrook. The company said the build-out was designed to accommodate a growing workforce and meet rising demand for technically complex projects across Central Virginia.

The expansion brings several DPR Family of Companies together under one roof, including OES Equipment and EIG Electrical Systems. According to the company, this integrated environment is intended to improve project delivery by creating a coordinated hub for preconstruction, procurement, field execution, and operations support. The project received support from Henrico County’s Technology Zone program.

The newly renovated space was designed by SMBW Architects and features conference rooms, open-office areas, dedicated storage spaces, bulk material zones, and showroom space to support current operations as well as future growth needs.

“Bringing our Family of Companies together in one space improves how we collaborate and deliver for our clients,” said Emily Covey, business unit leader at DPR Construction. “As projects become more complex, this setup allows us to move faster, share expertise more effectively, and scale with the region’s growth.”

Henrico County officials attended a ribbon-cutting ceremony marking the completion of the expansion. Brookland Magisterial District Supervisor Daniel J. Schmitt said that DPR Construction’s continued investment reflects both the strength of Henrico’s business community and the positive impact of local economic development programs like the Greater Henrico Technology Zone.

“It’s exciting to see DPR Construction build their presence in Henrico, where businesses are supported with the resources they need to flourish,” said Misty Roundtree, Vice Chair of the Henrico County Board of Supervisors. “That support helps companies grow in ways that benefit our entire community.”

DPR has operated in Central Virginia since 1996 and continues expanding as demand increases across advanced technology sectors such as life sciences, healthcare, higher education and commercial markets.
