The Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) will close two lanes on I-95 northbound near the Bells Road interchange at mile marker 71.3 in Richmond. The closures are scheduled to begin Friday, August 1 at 8 p.m. and continue through Monday, August 4 at 5 a.m., weather permitting. The work is part of a pipe replacement project.

VDOT advises drivers passing through Richmond to consider alternate routes such as I-295 and Route 288 to avoid expected delays.
