Weather permitting, the Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) will implement a detour for motorists on I-95 northbound at Exit 54 (Temple Avenue). The detour is scheduled to begin at 9 p.m. on Tuesday, July 8 and will last until 6 a.m. on Wednesday, July 9. This action is due to necessary maintenance work.
The northbound traffic will be rerouted to Exit 58 (Ruffin Mill Road/Woods Edge Road), then directed back onto I-95 southbound, returning to Exit 54 (Temple Avenue).
