The Virginia Department of Transportation has announced that the Dale City Truck-Only Safety Rest Area South, located at mile marker 154 along southbound I-95 just before Route 234/Dumfries Road (Exit 152), will undergo daytime concrete paving. The work is scheduled for Thursday, June 19; Friday, June 20; Saturday, June 21; and Monday, June 23 through Friday, June 27. The paving will occur from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. each day.

Despite the ongoing work, the rest area will remain open at all times. Traffic control measures and alternating traffic patterns and lanes will be in place within the truck-only rest area during this period.

Drivers and pedestrians are advised to exercise caution when traveling through active work zones. They should stay alert to new traffic patterns and minimize distractions.
