Work is scheduled to commence on Route 621, known as Roaring Run Road, in Botetourt County for a culvert replacement near 618 Roaring Run Road. The Virginia Department of Transportation has announced that starting Monday, July 7, flagging operations may occur as crews prepare the site and set up equipment.

From Tuesday, July 15, Route 621 will be reduced to one lane. Traffic will be controlled by a temporary signal that alternates traffic flow through the work zone until the project’s completion. Message boards will inform drivers of potential delays.

The project is expected to be completed by fall 2025, weather permitting.
