Culpeper District schedules roadwork and maintenance for October 6–10

Crews in the Culpeper District are scheduled to carry out a range of maintenance and construction activities from October 6 to 10, 2025. The work will include bridge and guardrail maintenance, cutting brush and tree limbs, repairing potholes, surface and shoulder repairs, paving operations, mowing, drainage work, roadside cleanup, and other assigned tasks across the district.

The Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) encourages drivers to check for live traffic updates and roadwork information by visiting 511 Virginia or using the free VDOT 511 Virginia Traffic app on their mobile devices. Motorists can also sign up for personalized alerts and view traffic cameras through the same platform.

“Crews will perform various activities throughout the district, including bridge & guardrail maintenance, brush, tree, limb cutting, pothole, surface, and shoulder repairs, surface treatment and paving operations, work orders, mowing, boom axing, drainage work and roadside cleanup.”

VDOT also offers additional resources such as a Paving Status Map and Virginia Roads portal to help residents stay informed about ongoing projects.
