Culpeper District announces weekly traffic alert for December 8–12

The Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) has released information about upcoming construction and maintenance work scheduled for the Culpeper District during the week of December 8 to 12, 2025. The planned activities will include bridge and guardrail maintenance, brush and tree cutting, pothole repairs, surface and shoulder repairs, paving operations, mowing, drainage work, and roadside cleanup across the district.

VDOT advises drivers to check live traffic updates and details about ongoing roadwork through the 511 Virginia website or by using the free VDOT 511 Virginia Traffic app available for mobile devices. Motorists can also sign up for personalized traffic alerts and view real-time traffic camera feeds at 511 Virginia.

In addition to these resources, VDOT encourages residents to follow their updates on social media platforms such as X at VDOT Culpeper (@VaDOTCULP) and on Facebook in the VDOT Culpeper District group.
