Culpeper District announces schedule for upcoming road maintenance activities

The Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) has announced upcoming construction and maintenance activities for the Culpeper District, scheduled between November 24 and December 5, 2025. The planned work includes bridge and guardrail maintenance, tree and limb cutting, pothole repairs, surface and shoulder improvements, paving operations, mowing, drainage work, and roadside cleanup.

VDOT encourages drivers to stay informed about live traffic conditions and roadwork by visiting the 511 Virginia website or using the VDOT 511 Virginia Traffic mobile app. Motorists can also receive personalized traffic alerts and view real-time traffic cameras through the same service.

For updates on ongoing projects in the area, residents can follow VDOT Culpeper District on X at @VaDOTCULP or join their Facebook group at VDOT Culpeper District | Facebook. Additional resources such as the Paving Status Map are available to keep drivers updated on local road conditions.
