George Mason University Athletics announced on May 11 that junior Cenan Liu of the women’s tennis team has been named to the Atlantic 10 All-Conference Second Team following her performance during the 2025-26 season.

Liu, who is from Markham, Ontario, played primarily at the No. 1 singles position and finished the season with a singles record of nine wins and fourteen losses. She secured five victories in dual matches and four in tournament play. In doubles competition, Liu also competed at the top spot, earning a record of nine wins and sixteen losses, including six dual-match victories and three tournament doubles wins.

Throughout the season, Liu played an important role for George Mason by competing at the top of both singles and doubles lineups. Her efforts contributed to guiding the Patriots through their conference schedule during spring.

“Cenan is deserving of this award,” Head Coach Steve Curtis said. “She is a tough competitor whom consistently represents our program very, very well.”

The George Mason women’s tennis team concluded its season with an overall record of eight wins and eleven losses.
