Bridge closure announced for pipe maintenance on Little Creek Road

Weather permitting, the Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) will close Route 611 (Little Creek Road) in Nottoway County for pipe maintenance on the bridge over Little Creek. The closure is scheduled from 8 a.m. on Monday, July 7, through 5 p.m. on Friday, July 18.

Homeowners will have access to their properties during this period.

Motorists are advised to follow posted detours:

– Southbound traffic should take Route 615 (Namozine Road) to Route 617 (Winningham Road) to Route 613 (Turkey Island Road), returning to Little Creek Road.
– Northbound traffic should take Route 613 (Turkey Island Road) to Route 617 (Winningham Road) to Route 615 (Namozine Road), returning to Little Creek Road.
