The Atlantic Coast Conference announced on May 15 adjustments to the 2026 football schedule, including changes to two Virginia Tech games.

The updates affect the Hokies’ road game at Southern Methodist University, which is now set for Friday, Nov. 6. This matchup was previously listed as a flex selection between Nov. 6 and Nov. 7. Additionally, Virginia Tech’s contest against the University of Miami has been moved from Friday, Nov. 20 to Saturday, Nov. 21.

Virginia Tech’s earlier scheduled Friday night game against the University of Pittsburgh remains unchanged and will take place on Friday, Oct. 2 at Lane Stadium.
